Motion Graphics and Editing oversight
In 2020, I oversaw the production of a sizzle video for the Microsoft Lists team, a project that garnered widespread acclaim within Microsoft and served as a template for subsequent projects.
Project Overview: Microsoft Lists is a Microsoft 365 app designed to help users track information and organize work effectively. Lists are simple, smart, and flexible, enabling teams to stay on top of what matters most. This video was first revealed during Microsoft Build 2020 (May 19-20, 2020).
Role and Responsibilities: As the Post-Production Supervisor, I guided the video from inception to completion, ensuring it met the highest standards of quality. My responsibilities included:
- Creative Direction: Provided comprehensive direction to the post-production team, ensuring that the video's narrative and visual style effectively communicated the functionality and benefits of Microsoft Lists.
- Collaboration: Worked closely with various teams to integrate feedback and ensure the final product was aligned with Microsoft’s vision and goals.
- Execution: Supervised the editing process, ensuring seamless transitions, engaging animations, and a cohesive storyline that highlighted the app’s features.
Impact: The video was well-loved by multiple teams within Microsoft and set a standard for future projects. Its success underscored the importance of effective project management, creative direction, and collaborative effort in producing high-quality content that resonates with audiences.
