Graphic Design, Animation & Director
Quarantine 2020 was a personal project I started in March 2020, a few weeks into lockdown. I had wanted to push further into Cinema 4D's dynamics tools for a while, and the quarantine gave me the uninterrupted time to actually do it.
I made a series of short animation pieces, each one tied to a specific day of the lockdown. The work was exploratory, testing different simulation systems and building familiarity with the software under real production conditions.
The project ended up being less about the output and more about the practice. Making something every day kept me moving and gave me a much stronger foundation in 3D motion work by the time I came out the other side.
- Cinema 4D simulations: Produced a series of short dynamic animations exploring Cinema 4D's physics and simulation tools.
- Day-by-day format: Each piece marked a specific day of lockdown, giving the series structure and a built-in timeline.
- Skill development: Used the extended quarantine period as an intensive practice window to deepen capabilities in 3D dynamics and motion design.
