Windows Virtual Desktop was the kind of product that could get abstract fast. Most of the value lived in infrastructure, scale, and management, so the challenge was making it feel concrete in a short video.
In 2019, I edited this sizzle piece for Microsoft 365 and the Windows Virtual Desktop team. The goal was to show what the product actually changed for IT and for the people using it. Better flexibility, tighter security, and a desktop experience that could move across devices and locations without losing the thread.
The edit had to carry a lot of information without getting bogged down. I focused on shaping a clear story around deployment, productivity, and day-to-day use so the piece stayed easy to follow from start to finish.
- Edited a sizzle video built around Windows Virtual Desktop as an Azure-based desktop experience.
- Structured the piece to make technical benefits like scalability, security, and deployment feel clear instead of abstract.
- Kept the pacing tight so the story could speak to both IT audiences and broader business viewers.
