Post-Production Supervisor
Build 2020 happened in the middle of the pandemic, so even a short stage opener turned into a production puzzle. For Rajesh Jha's Microsoft 365 presentation, we needed an intro that still felt crafted and memorable even though the whole thing had to be built remotely.
The solution ended up being surprisingly hands-on. We printed thousands of paper frames, captured them over a Teams call, and turned that material into a stop-motion sequence. I oversaw post and helped make sure all of those captured pieces could come together into something that felt intentional instead of improvised.
That meant a lot of careful work in the edit. Timing, continuity, and making the paper animation read clearly all mattered. The final piece gave the presentation a distinct opening and became one of those pandemic-era projects where the constraint ended up defining the look.
- Remote stop-motion: Built from thousands of printed paper frames captured over Teams during pandemic production restrictions.
- Post-production oversight: Guided the edit so the sequence felt cohesive, readable, and deliberate.
- Presentation opener: Created for Rajesh Jha's Microsoft 365 presentation at Build 2020.
