Graphic Design, Animation, Director & Producer
In 2016, during Mograph Mentor, I made a Chuck Norris infographic piece built around the old hyperbolic facts everyone seemed to know. The idea was simple: take something intentionally ridiculous and present it in a way that still felt designed, paced, and fun to watch.
I worked through the piece as a mobile-phone-format video, which gave it a nice constraint right away. Everything had to read quickly, the jokes had to land fast, and the motion had to carry the energy without turning into noise. I also used RubberHose for the character work, which made this one of my first real steps into more flexible character animation.
The whole thing was playful, but it ended up being a meaningful project for me. Working with Tony Zagoraios through Mograph Mentor, I got better at character motion, infographic storytelling, and finding a visual approach that could hold humor without feeling tossed off.
- Built as a mobile-first infographic piece, with timing and layout shaped around quick reads and fast visual punch lines.
- Used RubberHose for the character animation, which opened up a more flexible and expressive style of movement.
- Created through Mograph Mentor with Tony Zagoraios, and became an early project that pushed my animation process forward.
