Motion Graphics Designer
Project Volterra was really about showing a developer machine in a way that still felt visual. The video introduced the Windows Dev Kit 2023, and my part of the job was animating the UI inside a Visual Studio workflow so the story stayed grounded in actual use.
I worked on specific screen moments built around that developer scenario, creating the UI animation and making sure it integrated cleanly into the larger film. The challenge was keeping it readable and accurate while still giving the piece some motion and pace.
What I like about this one is that it did not rely on abstract product language. It showed the device in context. Visual Studio open, work in progress, and a clearer sense of what the Dev Kit was actually for.
- Animated UI for Visual Studio-based scenes that showed the Dev Kit in a real developer workflow.
- Built screen motion that could drop cleanly into the larger film without pulling focus from the product story.
- Helped make the Windows Dev Kit 2023 pitch more concrete by showing how developers could build for Arm on the device itself.
