UI Production Director
This one had a broad brief from the start. Introduce Copilot in Windows 11, bring in a wave of new AI tools and updates, and make it all feel like one launch film instead of a stack of disconnected features.
As UI Production Director, I led the UI side of the video and animated large parts of it myself. That meant shaping the screen experiences, helping define how the product moments were revealed, and working closely with the motion team so the UI felt built into the story rather than layered on top of it.
It was also the fifth Windows 11 video I had worked on, which helped. By then I had a good sense of where the UI needed precision, where motion could do the heavy lifting, and how to keep a feature-dense piece readable. The final video introduced Copilot and the larger set of updates with speed, clarity, and a strong visual throughline.
- Led UI production from concept through final animation for a launch film centered on Copilot in Windows 11 and related AI updates.
- Animated substantial sections of the piece while coordinating with CornerPin, Toliy Patel, and the wider motion team.
- Used the UI to carry the story, keeping a feature-heavy video clear and cohesive from start to finish.
