Adobe Summit needed a website walkthrough video at the exact moment the site itself was still being built. That was the challenge from the start. We were making a guide for an experience that was still shifting underneath us.
In 2021, I directed and produced the piece with Stoke Group, Heck Video, and the Adobe team. My job was to keep the video clear and useful while the site evolved, which meant a lot of coordination, a lot of revisions, and a lot of careful choices about what to show and what to simplify.
- I led the project from kickoff through delivery while the website was still changing.
- I used storyboards to keep Adobe and the production team aligned on the same version of the story.
- I kept the final video simple and readable so it could actually help people navigate the Summit experience.

A big part of the production process was building detailed storyboards that could communicate the direction clearly to both Adobe and my production team. Since the site was still in progress, those boards were doing more than just planning shots. They were helping everyone agree on what the experience was supposed to feel like.
I used the boards to map each step of the navigation flow and make the walkthrough easy to understand before we ever got deep into animation. That gave the team a solid visual blueprint to work from.
They were also useful for communication. Instead of talking in the abstract, we had something concrete to react to, revise, and keep improving as feedback came in from both Adobe and the production side.
That iterative process ended up being one of the most important parts of the project. The storyboards kept the whole thing aligned and gave the final animation a much clearer foundation.
