Animation, Director & Producer
In 2017, I was tasked with animating Alcon's 70th-anniversary logo for their booth at ASCRS. This project marked a significant departure from my usual 2D animation work, as I ventured into the realm of 3D animation using Cinema 4D. My goal was to blend the 3D elements seamlessly with 2D animation in After Effects, pushing the boundaries of my skills and expanding my creative toolkit.
- 3D Animation: Utilized Cinema 4D to create a dynamic and engaging 3D animation of the anniversary logo, showcasing a new dimension of visual storytelling.
- Integration with 2D Animation: Combined the 3D footage with 2D elements in After Effects, achieving a harmonious blend of both styles and enhancing the overall visual impact.
- Skill Advancement: This project was a pivotal moment in my journey as a video producer, marking my growing proficiency in Cinema 4D and my commitment to integrating new techniques into my work.
The final video was a standout piece, successfully capturing the celebratory spirit of Alcon's milestone anniversary and demonstrating the potential of combining 3D and 2D animation.
