Design Bootcamp - School of Motion
Over the years, I have honed my design skills through various projects, including my participation in the Design Bootcamp from the School of Motion. This course was particularly challenging as it focused on generating art from scratch each week, unlike other courses I had taken, such as Character Animation Bootcamp and Cinema 4D Basecamp. Through this bootcamp, I significantly improved my design capabilities, enabling me to create better-designed pieces for motion graphics projects. Below are some examples of the projects I completed during this course.
Urban Freestyle: Tokyo Throwdown
For this project, I created boards for a new show called Urban Freestyle: Tokyo Throwdown, launched by Fox. The show features teams of break dancers competing in head-to-head dance battles on the streets of Tokyo. My task was to design the Show Open and Title Design, capturing the dynamic and energetic spirit of the show.

Mission to Mars
In this project, I developed title slides for a promo that NASA TV was releasing for an expedition to Mars. The goal was to create high-end, techie graphics that would enhance the promo and provide a cohesive look throughout. I focused on achieving a calm and sophisticated vibe to match the grandeur of the mission.

12 Kilometers
This project involved designing title frames for the trailer of 12 Kilometers, a horror film directed by Mike Pecci. The film was accepted into the Boston International Film Festival and required a theatrical trailer. My frames included the opening title card, end card, and transitions from graphics to footage, aiming to elevate the overall trailer design.

EDM Festival in Barcelona hosted by Diesel
For this project, I created boards for a 30-second commercial for an EDM festival in Barcelona hosted by Diesel. The festival, held at a famous club, features popular EDM acts, glow sticks, and Red Bull and Vodkas. My design needed to reflect the vibrant and energetic Diesel brand while capturing the excitement of the festival.

Converse logo reveal
In this project, I designed a 5-second logo reveal for Converse to be used at the end of their online videos, including social media and pre-roll ads. The aim was to create a high-end, authentic design that resonated with the Converse brand, providing a polished and impactful conclusion to their videos.

Everlearn.io
For this project, I created boards for a 15-second commercial spot for Everlearn.io, a startup focused on educating the public about the issues surrounding higher education. The goal was to push the conversation towards "The New Education," a hybrid model combining online learning, peer-to-peer interaction, and instructor feedback. My design highlighted the innovative and affordable approach of Everlearn.io.

'Unlimited Data' plans with Sprint
In this project, I developed mood boards and offer pages for an ad campaign promoting 'Unlimited Data' plans with Sprint. The campaign required customizable styles for different offers, maintaining an on-brand feel while making the promotions fun and informative. My design featured a mash-up of lifestyle imagery and graphics to capture attention and convey the campaign's message.

IBM SmartCity
For this project, I created style-frames for a 30-second spot for IBM's SmartCity concept. The video aimed to showcase broader ideas such as less traffic, affordable housing, and lower energy costs. I was provided with a script and art by Brian Gossett, which I manipulated into a visual story to unveil IBM's innovative vision for SmartCity.
"The Perfect Song" - Premium Beat
In this final project, I created style-frames for a 30-second anthem spot for Premium Beat titled "The Perfect Song." The spot emphasized the importance of music in the creative video process and highlighted the Premium Beat experience. I was provided with a script and rough audio track, and I boarded out all the frames to convey the power and significance of music in storytelling.
