Graphic Designer & Animator
Blender Guru's Nature and Architecture Academy was where I started getting more serious about building full 3D environments. The work moved back and forth between natural scenes and architectural renders, which meant I was constantly switching between organic detail, lighting, composition, and more controlled design problems.
On the nature side, I spent time building grass, rocks, trees, ponds, forests, oceans, deserts, mountains, and a waterfall that took weeks to get right. Those scenes were really about patience. Small changes in texture, scale, or light could change the whole image.
The architectural work pushed a different muscle. Living rooms, houses, buildings, a cityscape, a museum, a pool, a kitchen. Cleaner shapes, more deliberate layouts, and a better feel for how to make a space look designed instead of just modeled. What I took from the course was not just more Blender experience. It gave me a better eye for building believable spaces and knowing where detail actually helps.
- Nature scenes: Built a range of outdoor environments, with a heavy focus on realism, surface detail, and lighting.
- Architectural visualizations: Created interiors and exterior spaces that leaned more on composition, structure, and controlled design choices.
- 3D process: Used the course to get more comfortable with modeling, texturing, lighting, and rendering across very different kinds of scenes.
