Power BI inside Microsoft Teams was really about context. The point was not just that dashboards and reports could live in Teams. It was that data could show up inside the same place where people were already talking, sharing, and making decisions.
In 2020, I worked with Straightface Studios on an explainer built around that idea. My role covered both editing and animation, so I was helping shape the pace of the piece while also building the motion that carried the product story.
The challenge was keeping a feature-heavy integration video clear. We needed to show how people could find reports, share them with coworkers, and build new visualizations directly in Teams without making the whole thing feel overloaded. The final piece kept the focus where it belonged: making data feel like a natural part of the conversation.

• Edited the explainer to move cleanly through the product flow without getting bogged down in features.
• Animated the piece to support the story and make the Power BI and Teams integration easy to follow.
• Built around the idea that dashboards, reports, and new visualizations could happen directly inside Teams.
