Director of Photography, Producer & Editor
This project needed to feel like a real story, not just a celebrity appearance. In 2014, we filmed a Kids Vision For Life piece with Jennie Garth in Fort Worth, and the challenge was stitching together a production that had to happen in two different ways.
Because of scheduling, Jennie's narrative segments were shot in our studio on green screen. Then we captured live-action b-roll on location to give the piece some texture and keep it grounded in something real.
I handled production and post, which meant coordinating the shoot, shaping the story around childhood vision care, and making sure the studio footage and location material cut together cleanly in the final video.
- Studio production: Shot Jennie Garth's on-camera segments on green screen to work around a tight schedule.
- Location footage: Captured Fort Worth b-roll to give the piece real-world context and visual contrast.
- Post-production: Managed the edit and integration of the two production approaches so the final video felt cohesive.
