SWAP was part of the U.S. Department of Energy's Better Buildings Challenge, so the goal was not just to talk about energy efficiency in broad terms. It was to show how major companies were actually reducing power use inside real facilities, with enough detail that other teams could learn from it.
In 2018, I worked with Hand Crank Films and the C+C Agency on new episodes for the series. We were building the third round of films, which meant using the earlier seasons as a reference point and keeping the format consistent while still making the new work feel sharp.
These episodes focused on L'Oréal and General Motors. My role covered both editing and motion graphics, so I was shaping the story in the cut while also building the graphic layer that helped carry the information. The end result was a set of episodes that felt clear, polished, and grounded in how the work actually happened.
- Edited multiple episodes for the third iteration of the SWAP series.
- Built motion graphics that helped explain the process without slowing the pace.
- Worked with Hand Crank Films and the C+C Agency on episodes featuring L'Oréal and General Motors.
