Post-production Supervisor
In 2019 and 2020, I oversaw the post-production edit of an overview video for the new Microsoft 365 homepage. This project was part of a significant transition as products.office.com evolved into Microsoft365.com.
- Seamless Transition: To ensure a smooth transition, we redesigned the entire website, both business and consumer sections, to reflect this historic product change.
- Comprehensive Redesign: The redesign included:
- 14,262 new pages published
- 23,234 assets
- 18,060 redirected pages
- 353 production user stories
- 296 design tasks
- 333 editorial tasks
- 110 development features
- Impressive Launch: We launched the new site within 72 hours, addressing only six bugs post-launch. This achievement is considered one of the most successful site migrations in Microsoft's history.
- Video Integration: The overview video played a crucial role in introducing the new homepage to users, highlighting key features and benefits of Microsoft 365. My role involved ensuring the video seamlessly aligned with the website's new design and messaging, providing a cohesive user experience.
